Kerttula is located in a wide cape of the fishy lake Mäkeintausta, in the village of Auttoinen in Padasjoki. The garage/ storage is another building with a car heater socket. There is a floating jetty, an outdoor grill and a rowboat. The water at the jetty is mid deep and stone ground.

There are three large bedrooms with two beds in Kerttula both a farmhouse kitchen and sauna facilities. One floor Kerttula is easy for disabled visitors. The extra beds are located in the livingroom. There is a spacious terrace in the afternoon sun side of the building

The distances to the cottage are from Helsinki 155 km, Tampere 100 km, Hämeenlinna 60 km, Lahti 55 km, Jyväskylä 130 km, Lammi 30 km ja Padasjoki 10 km. bus stop 500 m, grill kiosk 2 km, pub/shop 4 km, more shops and restaurant 10 km.
